ID Verification
We may request additional documentation to verify your identity and where the money is going. This ensures that money gifted to you reaches you and you only.
We might need a valid government issued ID and a most current bank statement with your name on it.
Any valid government-issued ID and recent bank statement on hand. A passport or driver’s license are good examples. Basically they should contain all of these: photo, current address, signature and a unique number or barcode.
If we need additional supporting documents from you, we may notify you in one or more of the following ways:
An email titled “Supporting ID Documentation Requested.” A prompt to upload documents when you are editing your withdrawal details An error message in your Byeuni account withdrawal page.
To upload your documents:
1. Initiate the upload process from:
- Email: Click the link provided in the email
- Your account: Click the “Withdraw” button, then “View Withdraw Overview” . Or click the “Please click here to try again.” link in the red banner.
2. Confirm that your personal information is correct (if you have not done this recently).
3. Click to upload your document, then use a file saved to your desktop or device. Each file should be at least 100 KB; JPG files are best for IDs and PDF files are best for bank statements.
Non-expired Government issued ID. Ones that are acceptable include but are not limited to the following:
- United States issued Driver’s License or Identification card
- United States Territories Driver’s License or Identification Card
- Tribal Identification Card that contains bearer’s signature
- U.S. Military Identification Card that contains bearer’s signature [Note: some do not]
- Passport-United States or Foreign issued
- Visa –In a passport and the bearer’s signature is on the passport not the Visa
- Resident Alien Card (Form I-551)
- Employment Authorization Card (Form I-766)
- Employment Authorization Card (Form I-688A)
- Temporary Resident Card (Form I-688)
- Full legal name that matches bank statement and Byeuni account.
- The photo must be in color
- Include the front and back of the ID (as separate images) or full passport photo page
- Show all information – no redactions
- The photo must be clear and show all four corners of the document
- The file size must be at least 100 KB, but no larger than 2 MB
- JPGs work better than PDF formatting

- Statement must be less than 3 months old
Other bank documents we may ask for:

- All details must be printed on the document, not handwritten
