About one year ago, at the end of Yom Kippur, Sepember 25th, I walked out of this synagogue, my spirit full of hope, and my stomach full of post fast nosh. It was a peaceful time, one of satiation, of closure, of endings and beginnings. Seeing old friends here, making new ones too. Tashlich cast our sins away from the old year, and Kol nidre clensed us for the new one.
